A button-type cell that generates hydrogen gas. It does not require an external power source and produces high-purity hydrogen. The amount of hydrogen generated is proportional to the discharge current (inversely proportional to the load resistance), and it can be used as an actuator based on hydrogen gas pressure for a wide range of temperatures, including applications for extruding liquids, gels, and pastes (such as oil dispensers), automatic feeding, air fresheners, and more. Additionally, there are expectations for future medical applications, such as drug delivery systems.
